Ladies First
"Ladies First" is an Indian documentary film. The film chronicles the life and career of Indian archer Deepika Kumari, from her childhood in the impoverished province of Jharkhand, where women have few rights, to her participation in the 2016 Olympic Games. She became the world archery champion at the age of 18. Filming began before the 2016 Olympics and lasted three years. Ladies First was released on Netflix on March 8, 2018, to mark International Women’s Day. It is important to us to help you understand that anything is possible, regardless of the environment in which you live.
